This set was a famous bootleg before it was released for good reason, a bunch of it ended up (in edited form) as a major portion of Starless.
This is a loud, fierce and kind of raw set, the kind of thing prog rock bands weren’t supposed to be capable of. It’s considerably better than USA, the earlier official live album for this variation of the band.
This is the kind of thing that I wish people who think they hate prog rock could listen to, as it has an edge to it that so much studio prog lacks.
Anyway, their best live album that I am aware of.
